FC Barcelona announced the signing of Youssoupha Fall, marking a significant addition to their basketball roster.
The Senegalese center, standing at 2.21 meters, has signed a one-year contract with the team, lasting until June 30, 2025.
Fall joins Barcelona from ASVEL Villeurbanne, where he played for the last three seasons.
This signing marks Fall’s second stint in the Liga ACB, having previously played for Baskonia.
He began his career at the Seed Academy in Senegal before moving to Europe with Le Mans in 2012.
Fall made his professional debut in the 2014/15 season but became a regular in the following season.
In 2018, he signed with Baskonia but spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Strasbourg IG.
Fall made his EuroLeague debut with Baskonia in the 2019/20 season, helping them win the Liga Endesa title against Barcelona.
After his tenure with Baskonia, Fall moved to ASVEL Villeurbanne and won the French League title in the 2020/21 season.
Last season, Fall averaged 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague.
