Justin Robinson drilled a game-winning three-pointer with 1.6 seconds remaining to lift FC Barcelona to a dramatic 90-87 EuroLeague victory over Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on Tuesday, October 13, giving the Spanish side a valuable bounce-back win at Palau Blaugrana.
Robinson finished with 11 points, including the decisive shot that capped a tightly contested game featuring 17 lead changes and 12 ties. Barcelona improved to 3-2 in the 2026-27 EuroLeague regular season, while Maccabi dropped to 1-4 despite a career-high 22 points from Yam Madar.
With the score tied at 87-87 and 19 seconds left, Barcelona navigated Maccabi’s full-court press before Robinson took possession at the top of the key. Kevin Punter sprinted past him as a decoy, creating enough space for Robinson to rise over Oshae Brissett and bury the three-pointer that decided the game.
The shot was particularly significant for Robinson, who joined Barcelona during the offseason after playing for Paris Basketball. The guard had struggled with foul trouble, picking up his third and fourth fouls within 27 seconds late in the third quarter and spending the remainder of the period and much of the fourth on the bench.
Punter led Barcelona with 19 points, while Umoja Gibson added 13. Justin Robinson and Joel Parra each contributed 11 points as Barcelona found enough offense to survive Maccabi’s challenge.
Madar led all scorers with 22 points, setting a new career high. Iffe Lundberg added 13 points, while Bonzie Colson scored 12 and Daniel Theis finished with 11 for Maccabi.
Barcelona held a narrow 40-42 deficit at halftime before taking control of the third quarter, outscoring Maccabi 27-22 to enter the final period ahead 67-64. Neither team could establish a decisive advantage in the fourth, setting up the late exchange that Robinson ultimately settled.

Maccabi was even more accurate from beyond the arc, converting 12 of 27 attempts, but could not turn that efficiency into a road victory.
Barcelona hosts Olympiacos on Friday, while Maccabi travels to face Valencia on Thursday.
