Russell Westbrook pens farewell message to Clippers

Russell Westbrook penned a farewell message to the Los Angeles Clippers after his trade to the Utah Jazz.

Westbrook, who is expected to sign with the Denver Nuggets, expressed his gratitude on Instagram.

He thanked Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and the organization for the opportunity to play for them.

“Thank you to Mr. Ballmer and the entire Clipper Organization for the opportunity,” Westbrook wrote.

He also extended his thanks to Clipper Nation for their support during his tenure.

Westbrook appreciated the chance to play in his hometown in front of family and friends.

He expressed gratitude to his teammates for their embrace and support over the past two years.

“I had a lot of fun with you all, playing in the city I love in front of my family and friends. To all of my teammates, I thank y’all for embracing me and supporting me the past two years,” the former MVP wrote.

He acknowledged his fans, highlighting their unwavering support and how much it means to him.

Westbrook emphasized that his fans keep him motivated and energized, “To ALL of MY fans! You guys don’t know how much your support means to me. Y’all keep me motivated and energized. I’ve got the most loyal and amazing fans in sports.”

Westbrook’s, known as “The Brodie,” message indicated his anticipation for the upcoming season.
