Olimpia Milano has bolstered its roster by signing former NBA guard Armoni Brooks to a contract until the 2025-26 season, the club confirmed.
Brooks joins Milano from the Ontario Clippers of the G-League, bringing his sharpshooting skills and versatile play to the Italian club.
“I am super excited to join the Olimpia Milano family,” Brooks expressed. “Playing for a historic club like this is a great honor. I can’t wait to compete in one of the best leagues in the world and face top competition.”
Despite going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Brooks signed with the Atlanta Hawks before making appearances with their G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. He later played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and eventually made his NBA debut with the Houston Rockets.
Over three NBA seasons with stints at Houston, Toronto, and Brooklyn, Brooks accumulated valuable experience, appearing in 84 games and averaging 6.6 points per game.
Last season, he split his time between the Brooklyn Nets and G-League. Brooks appeared in 10 regular season games for the Nets, averaging 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game.
Milano recently parted ways with guard Devon Hall, who left the team to sign with Fenerbahce.
