Caitlin Clark has reportedly blocked former NFL star Antonio Brown on social media following what appeared to be a series of attacks directed at her over several weeks.
Brown referred to the former Iowa Hawkeyes star as the “Cracker of the Day” after revealing to his followers that she had blocked him on the platform X.
It seems that a string of lewd remarks from Brown finally prompted Clark to take action. The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver initially made a joke at Clark’s expense in March when she broke the NCAA Division 1 college basketball scoring record.
“Congrats to Caitlin Clark on becoming all-time leading scorer,” he wrote in a message on X accompanied by a GIF of actor Mel Gibson with long, flowing hair.
Clark’s fans expressed dissatisfaction with the post, with some labeling it as “embarrassing,” while others remarked that the Super Bowl champion wide receiver was unlikely to make it into the Hall of Fame with such behavior.
