NBA scouts express reservations over Bronny James’ positional utilization during his college basketball stint at USC.

Amid Bronny’s decision to enter the 2024 NBA Draft, concerns arise regarding his readiness for the professional league.

Some people in the league made it unequivocally clear that they don’t think that the oldest son of LeBron James is NBA-ready, while others, like Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce, think that this is the best year for Bronny to enter the draft because of how week the draft class is.

According to NBA insider Brian Windhorst, scouts feel Bronny didn’t showcase his full potential due to positional mismanagement at USC.

“NBA scouts don’t think Bronny James was able to put his best foot forward this year because USC didn’t play him in his position…They say that he should play somewhere where he can… Build up his skills,” Windhorst explained on The Pat McAfee Show, per ClutchPoints.

Windhorst also revealed Bronny’s agent, Rich Paul, is exploring various options for his development, including the G League, Summer League, or another year of college.
