The decision of Bronny James to enter the NBA Draft has sparked discussions about his readiness for the league after a year of college basketball at USC.
NBA insider Shams Charania reports that teams see Bronny as already possessing the defensive skills required for the NBA.
“Bronny James is declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft, but he’s also maintaining his college eligibility…When I talk to NBA teams there’s a clear consensus that as a defender he’s already at that caliber of an NBA defender,” Charania said on FanDuelTV’s Run It Back.
Charania also pointed out that in terms of talent level, this year’s draft if the best choice for Bronny.
