The Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo received positive news regarding his left Achilles tendon following an MRI post Tuesday’s victory against the Boston Celtics.

Exiting the game due to a non-contact injury initially diagnosed as a calf strain, Antetokounmpo’s MRI results revealed no damage to the Achilles tendon, a relief for both him and the Bucks.

Traditionally, calf strains necessitate a recovery period of one to two weeks before returning to play. With the playoffs set to commence on either Saturday, April 20th, or Sunday, April 21st, the Bucks are hopeful for Antetokounmpo’s swift recuperation as they prepare for postseason action.
