Naz Reid is making a strong case for the Sixth Man of the Year award with impressive performances in his recent games. Averaging 19.4 points and 7.1 rebounds over his last 14 games while shooting .488/.448/.743, Reid fills in admirably for the injured Karl-Anthony Towns.

Following a stellar 31-point, 11-rebound performance against the Lakers, Reid expressed his desire to win the award, considering it a personal goal. Having started 12 of his 77 appearances this season, Reid’s impact off the bench has been notable, showcasing the effectiveness of a true sixth man.

“I think it’s obvious that Naz Reid is the Sixth Man of the Year,” teammate Anthony Edwards said. “We’re the No. 1 team in the West. He’s had multiple 30-point games. He’s the reason we’re winning. He’s a big reason why. KAT went down a little minute ago and we’ve still been able to win, it’s because of Naz.”
