Maxey’s remarkable performance overshadowed Victor Wembanyama’s stellar outing for the Spurs, as he recorded 33 points, 18 rebounds, and seven blocks in a losing effort.

Despite the absence of star center Joel Embiid, who sat out the game due to rest, Maxey stepped up in his absence.
