Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley praised the skillset and work ethic of Charlotte Hornets rookie Brandon Miller following Friday’s 124-115 road loss (32 points/6 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/1 block/11-13 FG/5-6 3-PT/5-5 FT/+7 +/-).

“He didn’t miss a shot the whole first half, so I’m very impressed with this young man and what he’s able to do. I know there was a lot of talk early on of what he was capable of doing and he wasn’t hitting that to a point, and then he just turned it up. He’s turned it on for the last three months, I think he’s three months straight of Rookie of the Month. I think he’s doing a heck of a job working on his game, finding his places on the floor where he can get a shot off… Big enough to get his shot off on any defender. But again, you have to give him a ton of credit for the work he’s put in and staying with it regardless of what was happening early on.”
