Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown is widely recognized as one of the team’s offensive leaders, but his defensive prowess often flies under the radar. According to teammate Al Horford, Brown deserves significant recognition for his defensive abilities.

“A lot of people may say they want those challenges, but he’s taking on a lot of different players…Being very unbiased, being very clear, he’s first team all-defense,” Horford stated, as reported by Jared Weiss.

Brown, a three-time NBA All-Star (2021, 2023, 2024) and once All-NBA Second Team (2023) recipient, has yet to receive any defensive awards.

In the current season, Brown has continued to showcase his two-way impact, averaging 23.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 33.6 minutes of play.
