Doncic and Irving propel Mavericks to win over Jazz

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined forces to guide the Dallas Mavericks (42-29) to a commanding 115-105 victory over the Utah Jazz (29-43) on Monday night.

Doncic finished the game with 29 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds, earning a triple-double and steering the Mavericks to their fourth consecutive win.

Irving complemented Doncic’s performance with 27 points of his own, contributing significantly to Dallas’ offensive firepower. P.J. Washington added 16 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. contributed 13 off the bench.

Utah’s Lauri Markkanen put up a valiant effort with 34 points, including six 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Dallas’ resilient defense.

Despite a strong start from Utah, who scored 41 points in the first quarter, Dallas tightened up defensively to limit the Jazz to just 17 points in the fourth quarter.

John Collins added 21 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, while Collin Sexton chipped in with 20 points, but they couldn’t prevent Dallas from seizing control of the game.

With this win, the Mavericks have tied the sixth-placed Sacramento Kings. Meanwhile, Utah is eight games behind the play-in zone.
