Hawks crush Hornets with 41-point demolition

The Atlanta Hawks (31-39) decimated the Charlotte Hornets (17-53) with a resounding 132-91 victory.

Dejounte Murray led the charge for Atlanta, draining a season-high seven 3-pointers on his way to 28 points, while also dishing out 12 assists to orchestrate the Hawks’ offense efficiently.

Backing Murray’s performance, Bruno Fernando delivered a career-high 25 points, with Garrison Mathews adding 20 points in a strong display off the bench for the Hawks.

Atlanta’s relentless offensive onslaught overwhelmed Charlotte from the outset, with the Hawks establishing a commanding lead and never looking back.

The Hornets, led by Miles Bridges’ 27 points, struggled to contain Atlanta’s offensive firepower. Brandon Miller added 13 points, while Nick Richards recorded a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Despite facing adversity with injuries to Trae Young, Jalen Johnson and Okongwu, Atlanta was able to record a blowout win.
