Anthony Edwards sparks Timberwolves to victory against Jazz

Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves (47-21) to a 114-104 triumph over the Utah Jazz (29-39) on Monday night.

Edwards, with 32 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds, propelled the Timberwolves to victory. Naz Reid provided support with 17 points.

Despite facing adversity with injuries to Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota capitalized on Utah’s turnovers, scoring 27 points off 17 turnovers to maintain control of the game.

Collin Sexton led the charge for Utah with 24 points, supported by Lauri Markkanen’s 22 points and 12 rebounds after a six-game absence due to injury.

Edwards dislocated his finger during a thunderous dunk over John Collins but returned to the game after popping it back into place during a timeout.

Utah mounted a late rally to take a brief lead, but Minnesota responded emphatically, closing out the game with a decisive 12-1 run ignited by Edwards.

The Timberwolves, currently second in the Western Conference, maintain their chase of the number one seed, trailing 0.5 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.
