Nikola Jokic leads Nuggets past Spurs with 31 points

Nikola Jokic propelled the Denver Nuggets (47-20) to a commanding 117-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs (14-53) with a 31-point display.

The Nuggets’ depth and balanced scoring, complemented by contributions from Jamal Murray (15 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists), Michael Porter Jr. (13 points, 7 rebounds), Justin Holiday (13 points), and Christian Braun (13 points) proved pivotal in securing the victory.

Despite the Spurs’ efforts, led by notable performances from Jeremy Sochan (19 points), Devin Vassell (17 points), and Victor Wembanyama (17 points, 9 rebounds), the Nuggets’ relentless offense proved too much to handle.

With this win, the Nuggets extend their winning streak to five games, maintaining the number one seed in the Western Conference.

The game, played in Austin to broaden the Spurs’ regional fan base, drew a record-breaking attendance at the Moody Center.
