Pacers secure convincing victory over Magic

The Indiana Pacers (36-29) defeat the Orlando Magic (37-28) with a commanding 111-97 win on Sunday night.

Led by Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, who each contributed 20 points, the Pacers closed the gap in the Eastern Conference standings, putting pressure on the Magic. Haliburton also added seven rebounds and eight assists.

Orlando, despite the efforts of Paolo Banchero (19 points) and Cole Anthony (16 points), couldn’t withstand the Pacers’ second-half surge, as Indiana’s bench players, T.J. McConnell and Obi Toppin, made significant contributions with 17 points each.

The Magic, missing key players such as Jalen Suggs and Markelle Fultz, struggled to find their rhythm, succumbing to the Pacers’ relentless pressure throughout the game.
