Charles Barkley on Biden, Dems: “They only care about black people every four years”

NBA legend Charles Barkley criticized President Biden and the Democratic Party, alleging that they only show concern for black people “every four years” leading up to an election.

The co-host of CNN’s “King Charles” show voiced his opinions, asserting that he believed former President Donald Trump had appeal among some black voters for reasons he was explaining.

“The reason I think the Democratic Party and Mr. Biden, President Biden, is losing black votes is they only care about black people every four years,” Barkley proclaimed.

The NBA great, known for his straightforwardness, argued that progressives tend to visit black neighborhoods solely to make empty promises and garner votes without fulfilling those commitments.

“And then finally us black people are like, ‘I don’t know, man, other than my ability to dunk a basketball, all my neighbors’ hoods are still the same, our schools are still the same,’” he said, “and that’s why I think black people are leaving disappointed the Democratic Party.”
