Victor Wembanyama dominates as Spurs stun Pacers

Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama led the San Antonio Spurs (13-48) to a remarkable 117-105 victory over the Indiana Pacers (34-28) on Sunday night.

The French talent delivered a standout performance with 31 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and six blocked shots, joining elite company in NBA history alongside legends like David Robinson and Tim Duncan.

Malaki Branham contributed 18 points, while Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson provided support with 17 points each.

Despite Indiana’s strong offensive reputation, the Spurs managed to contain their opponents, holding them to a season-low 16 points in the opening quarter and stifling their three-point shooting throughout the game.

TJ McConnell led Indiana with 26 points off the bench. Pascal Siakam added 21 points and eight rebounds. Myles Turner contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds, while All-Star Tyrese Haliburton was limited to just 12 points (4-of-16 field goals) and eight assists.
