Damian Lillard drops 35 points as Bucks take 1-0 lead against Pacers

In a commanding playoff opener, Damian Lillard showcased his scoring prowess, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 109-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers, despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence.

Lillard’s explosive performance saw him score all 35 of his points in the first half, setting a Bucks record for points in either half of a playoff game and setting the tone for Milwaukee’s dominance.

Antetokounmpo’s absence didn’t deter the Bucks, as Lillard’s offensive outburst, coupled with contributions from Khris Middleton (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Bobby Portis (15 points, 11 rebounds), propelled Milwaukee to a commanding lead.

Pascal Siakam led the Pacers’ efforts with 36 points and 13 rebounds, but Indiana struggled from beyond the arc, shooting just 8 of 39 from 3-point range.

Myles Turner contributed 17 points and eight rebounds, while All-Star guard Tyrese Halibrton added nine points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.
