Paolo Banchero’s 29 points propelled the Orlando Magic (35-26) to a resounding 113-91 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons (9-51) on Sunday night.
Backing Banchero’s standout display, Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 19 points and eight rebounds, while Markelle Fultz impressed with a season-high 16 points, hitting all eight of his shots in just 17 minutes of play.
Despite a spirited effort off the bench from Evan Fournier and Simone Fontecchio, who scored 17 and 15 points respectively for the Pistons, Detroit couldn’t contain the Magic’s offensive onslaught.
