Aleksej Pokusevski set to join Hornets

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the Charlotte Hornets are poised to add forward Aleksej Pokusevski to their roster.

Pokusevski, who was recently waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder, is set to join the Hornets after a stint with the Thunder.

The Serbian forward, drafted 17th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft, has seen limited playing time this season, appearing in just 10 games for the Thunder and averaging 1.2 points and 1 rebounds in 6 minutes per game.

During his tenure with the Thunder, Pokusevski averaged 1.2 points and 1 rebound in 6 minutes per game, a departure from his earlier seasons where he averaged around eight points per game.

Pokusevski’s addition to the Hornets roster marks the fourth player from the Thunder to join Charlotte this season.

The Hornets acquired Vasilije Micic, Davis Bertans, and Tre Mann from the Thunder at the trade deadline.
