Despite their current standing, Draymond Green maintains unwavering belief in the Golden State Warriors’ potential as legitimate championship contenders this season.

Sitting at the tenth spot in the Western Conference with a 29-26 record, the Warriors face a tough road to secure a playoff berth. However, Green remains optimistic, citing the leadership of Stephen Curry as a driving force behind their aspirations.

“I 100% believe that we are legit title contenders … I don’t see any team out there that we couldn’t beat,” Green asserted on The Draymond Green Show, expressing confidence in the Warriors’ ability to compete at the highest level.

Acknowledging the need for favorable circumstances and a stroke of luck, Green emphasized the team’s resilience and determination to overcome any challenges on their path to championship contention.

“Obviously the cards got to fall in place, obviously a lot of things got to go your way, obviously you need some luck. That’s just the nature of winning championships,” Green said. “But I don’t see any team in the NBA that we can’t beat and compete for a title. And mama, we still got that man [Steph Curry].”

With Curry continuing to deliver stellar performances, averaging 27.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 33.4 minutes per game, the Warriors have showcased their potential during a recent impressive 10-2 run.

As Curry, a pivotal figure in the Warriors’ success, approaches his 36th birthday next month, his leadership and on-court prowess remain instrumental in driving the team’s championship aspirations forward.
