Spencer Dinwiddie lauds Lakers fans in debut: “Nothing like this fan base”

In his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers, Spencer Dinwiddie had a memorable experience playing in front of the passionate Lakers fans.

The 30-year-old point guard, who recently joined the Lakers after a buyout with the Toronto Raptors, expressed his admiration for the enthusiastic crowd.

Dinwiddie came off the bench and recorded six points and seven assists in 31 minutes of play, helping the Purple and Gold defeat the Detroit Pistons.

Speaking after the game, the Los Angeles native emphasized the unique energy and support provided by the Lakers fan base.

“That was fire, that was elite. Obviously, you always wanna play in front of your home city, you always wanna have the crowd behind you. There’s nothing like this fan base,” Dinwiddie said postgame.
