Deandre Ayton led the scoring for the Blazers with 22 points and 16 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to halt their five-game losing streak.

The Timberwolves established an early lead, but the Blazers fought back, narrowing the gap to just two points in the third quarter before Edwards ignited a decisive run to extend Minnesota’s lead.

Despite missing key players due to injuries, the Blazers put up a valiant effort, with Anfernee Simons returning to action and contributing 20 points to the team’s offensive efforts. Dalano Banton added 16 off the bench.
