Giannis Antetokounmpo dominates with 36 points as Bucks overpower Nuggets

Giannis Antetokounmpo showcased his dominance with 36 points, leading the Milwaukee Bucks (36-18) to a commanding 112-95 victory over the Denver Nuggets (35-19) on Monday night.

The Bucks’ defensive improvement was evident as they held the reigning NBA champions to under 100 points for the second consecutive game, a first for Milwaukee this season.

Despite Nikola Jokic’s standout performance with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists for the Nuggets, injuries to key players Jamal Murray and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hindered Denver’s efforts.

Milwaukee saw contributions from Damian Lillard (18 points) and Bobby Portis (13 points), complementing Antetokounmpo’s performance.

Portis’ ejection in the fourth quarter didn’t deter the Bucks, as they maintained their composure and extended their lead to as many as 28 points before securing the victory.
