D’Angelo Russell leads Lakers to comfortable win over Pelicans

D’Angelo Russell propelled the Los Angeles Lakers (28-26) to a comfortable 139-122 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans (30-22), scoring 30 points in a dominant performance.

Russell’s stellar outing, coupled with Austin Reaves’ 27 points and LeBron James’ double-double of 21 points and 14 assists, fueled the Lakers’ impressive offensive showcase.

Rui Hachimura added 21 points, while Anthony Davis contributed 20 points along with six rebounds and six assists for the Purple and Gold.

New Orleans had Zion Williamson lead the charge with 30 points, nine rebounds and five assists, supported by Brandon Ingram’s 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and CJ McCollum’s 19 points.
