The Chicago Bulls chose to maintain their roster status quo at the trade deadline, despite being in contention for the Play-In Tournament and possessing several veterans with tradeable contracts.

Among these veterans is DeMar DeRozan, and the Bulls are interested in securing the seasoned wing through a contract extension. Reportedly, DeRozan is open to the idea, contingent upon receiving a satisfactory offer.

Over his three seasons with the Bulls, DeRozan has consistently stood out as the team’s top performer. Demonstrating resilience in terms of health, he has averaged 25.3 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds during his tenure in Chicago.
