According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Anunoby had surgery to address a loose bone fragment in his right elbow, requiring a minimum of three weeks for recovery.
The procedure, though minor, is crucial for Anunoby’s full recovery and aims to have him back in action for the Knicks’ stretch run and postseason.
Anunoby’s absence will be felt by the Knicks, who acquired the 26-year-old forward from the Toronto Raptors in a recent trade deal.
