Steph Curry’s 42-point performance ignites Warriors’ victory over Pacers

Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors (24-25) to a resounding 131-109 victory over the Indiana Pacers (29-24), erupting for an astounding 42 points.

The win marks the Warriors’ third consecutive victory, signaling a surge in momentum for the team, which sits at 11th place in the competitive Western Conference standings.

Against the Pacers, Curry was virtually unstoppable, shooting 15 of 22 from the field and sinking 11 three-pointers out of 16 attempts.

Jonathan Kuminga added 18 points, while Gui Santos had 13, and Andrew Wiggins and Dario Saric contributed 11 points each to support the Warriors’ offensive onslaught.

The Pacers, on the other hand, struggled to contain Curry’s scoring barrage, despite efforts from players like Pascal Siakam (16 points, eight rebounds) and Myles Turner (15 points, seven rebounds).

Amidst the trade deadline frenzy, the Pacers made significant moves, including sending Buddy Hield to Philadelphia and acquiring Doug McDermott from San Antonio.
