The Los Angeles Lakers (27-25), led by standout performances from D’Angelo Russell, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis, secured their third consecutive win against the Charlotte Hornets.
Davis recorded his third career triple-double with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists, guiding the Lakers to a hard-fought 124-118 triumph over the short-handed Hornets.
Russell contributed 28 points, six assists and four rebounds, while James added 26 points, seven assists and four rebounds.
Miles Bridges led the charge for the Hornets with a career-high 41 points, supported by rookie Brandon Miller’s impressive 33-point performance. P.J. Washington added 15 along with eight rebounds for Charlotte.
Although the Hornets mounted a late-game comeback behind Miller’s fourth-quarter heroics, the Lakers maintained their composure and sealed the win with crucial defensive stops and clutch free throws.
