LeBron James: Jalen Brunson is playing at more than All-Star level this year

In a recent matchup at Madison Square Garden, LeBron James commended Jalen Brunson’s outstanding performance, stating, “Jalen is playing at more than All-Star level this year.”

Despite the Lakers securing a 113-105 victory against the New York Knicks, Brunson’s brilliance on the court was undeniable.

LeBron recognized Brunson as the driving force for the Knicks, acknowledging his pivotal role as the “head of the snake.” Despite the Lakers’ victory, James emphasized the strategy to wear down Brunson in the fourth quarter and focus on rebounding, considering the Knicks’ strength in offensive rebounding.

“We just tried wear him down throughout the fourth quarter and get rebounds because I believe they’re second or first in the last 12 in offensive rebounding too. So you got to do a little bit of both,” he said.

While the Lakers secured the win, Brunson’s led all-scorers with a 36-point contribution along with 10 assists.

This season, Brunson has been a standout player, earning his first All-Star nod and averaging 27.3 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 35.9 minutes per game.
