The Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac plans to play tonight in Dallas for the second game of a back-to-back, according to Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel. This marks a significant step for Isaac, who has faced injury setbacks in the past three years.

In the previous game against Phoenix, he played 23 minutes, scoring nine points and grabbing three rebounds. Isaac, who has missed 18 games this season, including seven consecutive ones due to a strained right hamstring, is collaborating with coach Jamahl Mosley and the training staff to ensure his fitness for a possible playoff run.

“I’m getting there,” Isaac said. “Just talking with coach and figuring out how I’m coming along and what’s going to be the direction. I’m just telling them I’m ready to go. I’m going to continue to just take it one game at a time.”
