Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony has never seen another defender better than Jonathan Isaac.

“We’ve got a defensive belt we started giving out to the team. And the last couple games we haven’t even done it, just because it’s going to stay in his locker. There’s probably maybe two guys, three guys on this team who could give him a run for his money. Jalen [Suggs], Gary [Harris], maybe Wendell [Carter], but it ain’t going nowhere. I told him I think earlier this week, I said, ‘Jonathan, you’re the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life.’ I told him that, and I’m like, ‘You’re lucky we’re not on separate teams, you’re lucky we’re on the same team, because I would be your matchup nightmare.’ But, it’s just incredible. I don’t want to take away from what he does. He’s literally like 1-5, moves his feet, guards the post, anticipates, got a quick twitch. Just the most versatile defender I’ve literally ever seen in my life.”
