The Toronto Raptors are embracing a comprehensive rebuild, signaling their intention to trade nearly every player on their roster in a strategic effort to reshape the team.

Josh Lewenberg of TSN has reported that league sources have confirmed the Raptors’ readiness to engage in trade discussions for almost all their players. The recent trades of OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, Malachi Flynn, and Pascal Siakam underscore their commitment to the rebuild.

The Raptors have already initiated significant moves, sending key players to the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. However, the front office is not content to stop there.

Lewenberg’s report emphasizes that, aside from promising talents like Scottie Barnes and former Knicks Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett, every other player is available for trade. This includes established veterans such as Gary Trent, Dennis Schroder, Chris Boucher, the newly acquired Bruce Brown, and Jakob Poeltl.

The overarching goal for the Raptors is to accumulate valuable assets, be it draft picks or promising young prospects, to accelerate the rebuilding process.
