In a bold move, the Miami Heat orchestrated a trade to acquire seasoned guard Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets, sending Kyle Lowry and a protected first-round draft pick in return.

A key figure for the Hornets, the 29-year-old guard boasts impressive averages of 23.2 points, 6.6 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 35.5 minutes per game.

As Rozier stepped onto Miami soil, he expressed his excitement, stating, “I don’t even know what to say. It ain’t all, it ain’t all the way hit me. This is home for me. It feels good. I’m ready to get started. I’m glad to be a part of Heat culture. Let’s get it. Y’all gonna see what all the hype about. I’m really ready. Let’s get to it.”

The Heat, known for their recent Finals appearances, currently occupy the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference with a record of 24 wins and 19 losses.
