Celtics complete regular season sweep against Raptors

The Boston Celtics (31-9) secured their eighth straight win against the Toronto Raptors (15-25), completing a second consecutive four-game season sweep with a 105-96 triumph on Monday night.

Jayson Tatum’s 19 points and 14 rebounds, coupled with Jrue Holiday’s season-high 22 points, fueled the Celtics’ success. Derrick White added 22 points in absence of Jaylen Brown.

RJ Barrett led Toronto with 24 points. Immanuel Quickley added 21, while Pascal Siakam had 17.

Toronto faced challenges beyond the Celtics’ stifling defense, missing key players like Gary Trent Jr. due to flu-like symptoms and Joktay Porter stepping in for the injured Jakob Poeltl.
