Clippers win as Leonard and George each score 29 points against Raptors

In a hard-fought contest, the Los Angeles Clippers (24-13) claimed a 126-120 victory over the Toronto Raptors (15-23) on Wednesday night, propelled by outstanding performances from Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, each scoring 29 points.

Earlier on the same day, Leonard solidified his commitment to the Clippers by agreeing to a three-year contract extension. The star’s impact was immediately felt on the court as he contributed 29 points, three rebounds, and seven assists.

George played a pivotal role in the victory, adding 29 points to the scoreboard, including 15 points in the crucial fourth quarter.

The Toronto Raptors, missing Pascal Siakam due to back spasms, faced a resilient Clippers squad. Despite impressive performances from Immanuel Quickley (25 points), RJ Barrett (24 points), and Dennis Schroder (22 points), the Raptors fell short for the second consecutive night at Crypto.Com Arena, following a narrow loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.

The Clippers, led by double-doubles from James Harden (14 points, 11 assists) and Ivica Zubac (12 points, 11 rebounds), continued their strong run.
