Brooklyn Nets’ star point guard, Ben Simmons, appears poised to make a return to the court after grappling with back issues that sidelined him since early November.

Despite setbacks, Simmons, currently with the team in Paris for the NBA Paris Game 2024 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, teased his imminent comeback during a practice session.

Simmons, who previously battled back problems during the summer, has been diligently working towards a return, participating in practice sessions with the Nets in Paris.

Although the point guard didn’t provide a specific timetable for his comeback, he expressed optimism about his progress, stating, “It’s good. I’m getting there. Just progressing every day, so I’ll be back soon,” as tweeted by Brian Lewis.

This update comes as a positive sign for the Nets, who have missed Simmons’ contributions on the court. Having averaged 6.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in 31.8 minutes over six games earlier in the season, Simmons’ return could bolster the team’s depth and playmaking capabilities.
