Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo lead Heat in win over Rockets

Despite Kyle Lowry’s early exit due to a sprained left hand, the Miami Heat (21-15) displayed resilience, with Tyler Herro scoring 28 points and Bam Adebayo contributing 22 points and 12 rebounds, securing a 120-113 victory over the Houston Rockets (18-17).

Kevin Love’s 15 points, along with contributions from Duncan Robinson (14 points) and Jaime Jaquez Jr. (14 points), propelled the Heat to a crucial win, moving them to the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference.

The absence of Jimmy Butler, recovering from a right toe joint sprain, didn’t impede the Heat’s success, with a 6-2 record in his recent absences.

Fred VanVleet led the Rockets with 32 points, and Alperen Sengun added 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Despite Houston’s efforts, Miami’s control in the second half, combined with efficient scoring from multiple players, secured the Heat’s win.

The Rockets, without Dillon Brooks, faced a resilient Miami team that has positioned itself well in the tightly contested Eastern Conference.
