Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren propel Thunder past Wizards

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 32 points and Chet Holmgren’s 31-point performance guided the Oklahoma City Thunder (24-11) to a commanding 136-128 victory over the struggling Washington Wizards (6-30).

Jalen Williams’ double-double with 21 points and 10 assists played a crucial role in the Thunder’s bounce-back win.

Despite Washington’s efforts, led by Jordan Poole’s 24 points and Kyle Kuzma’s double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds, the Wizards suffered their fifth consecutive defeat.

Tyus Jones added 18 points and nine assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Thunder’s offensive prowess.

Oklahoma City’s ball movement shone through, recording a season-high 37 assists, with Williams contributing 10 assists, while Josh Giddey, Gilgeous-Alexander, and Holmgren each added five.
