James Harden sparks Clippers’ comeback, tops Hornets

James Harden led the Los Angeles Clippers (18-12) to a 113-104 victory over the Charlotte Hornets (7-21) on Tuesday night, ending the Clippers’ two-game losing streak.

Harden showcased his scoring prowess, delivering 29 points with a dominant first-half performance, setting the tone for the Clippers’ comeback.

Despite missing Kawhi Leonard due to a left hip contusion, the Clippers found their rhythm, with Paul George contributing 25 points and Ivica Zubac recording an impressive double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

The victory was crucial for the Clippers, breaking a three-game streak that followed their nine-game winning spree.

Russell Westbrook, coming off the bench, played a pivotal role in filling the void left by Leonard, contributing 14 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists in 28 energetic minutes.

Miles Bridges led the Hornets with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Terry Rozier and P.J. Washington added 18 points each.

The Hornets, without LaMelo Ball due to an ankle injury, faced their eighth consecutive loss.
