Just three games into his return from a 25-game suspension, Grizzlies’ point guard Ja Morant clinched the Player of the Week title for the Western Conference.

During this impressive stint, he led Memphis to three consecutive victories, averaging 28.0 points, 9.0 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in 35.1 minutes per game.

The highlight was a thrilling buzzer-beater to secure a win against New Orleans.

Morant’s return has breathed new life into the Grizzlies, who have not tasted defeat since his comeback.

On the Eastern Conference side, Joel Embiid secured his second Player of the Week award this season, making him the first repeat winner in the conference.

Despite the Philadelphia 76ers starting the week with a loss to Chicago, Embiid showcased his dominance with a 40-point performance.

He continued his stellar performance with 51 points in a victory over the Timberwolves and added 31 more in a win against the Raptors. Embiid’s weekly averages: 40.7 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 6.0 APG, and 2.3 BPG in 36.0 MPG.
