LeBron James dominates with 40 points as Lakers prevail over Thunder

In a remarkable performance, LeBron James unleashed a season-high 40 points, propelling the Los Angeles Lakers (16-14) to a 129-120 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (18-9) on Saturday night and breaking their four-game losing streak.

The 38-year-old James showcased his enduring prowess, going 13 of 20 from the field, sinking five 3-pointers flawlessly, and converting all nine of his free throws. His all-around contribution included seven rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks.

Anthony Davis added 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Rui Hachimura contributed 21 points, while Austin Reaves chipped in 11 points and nine assists for the Lakers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder’s offensive effort with 34 points, accompanied by 28 points from Jalen Williams and a double-double performance by Chet Holmgren, contributing 19 points and 10 rebounds.
