Following Zalgiris’ third consecutive loss in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, there were doubts surrounding head coach Kazys Maksvytis. However, the rumors of the Lithuanian coach being replaced by Andrea Trinchieri were dismissed on Friday morning.
Shortly after the home loss to Partizan Mozzart Bet in Round 14 of the EuroLeague’s Regular Season, Zalgiris released a statement refuting “a lot of rumors and speculations.” Instead, they expressed full confidence in Maksvytis as the team’s head coach.
