Kings bolster squad with Juan Toscano-Anderson signing

The Sacramento Kings have secured the talents of the 2022 NBA champion Juan Toscano-Anderson, who previously split his time between the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz.

The 30-year-old forward had joined the Mexico City Capitanes of the G League in September after not securing an NBA contract.

Now, the Kings are bringing him on board with a one-year deal, as confirmed by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski in a tweet: “The Sacramento Kings are signing F Juan Toscano-Anderson to a one-year deal, sources tell ESPN. Toscano-Anderson — who’s had stops with the Warriors, Lakers and Jazz — has been playing with Mexico City of the G League.”

Toscano-Anderson’s recent stint in the G League showcased his all-around skills, averaging 19.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 35 minutes per game over 11 appearances for the Mexico City Capitanes.
