Minnesota Timberwolves standout Anthony Edwards is putting an end to the comparisons with the legendary Michael Jordan, asserting that the distinctions between them are vast.

“I just want [the comparisons] to stop,” Edwards emphasized. “Because he’s the greatest to ever play basketball. And I’m so far from it. Not even close. I just wish it stopped. Stop comparing me with Michael Jordan. He’s Michael Jordan. I’m my own basketball player. Whatever I do, I do. I’m nowhere near Michael Jordan.”

Addressing the hypothetical scenario of facing Jordan on the court today and whether the Bulls icon could stop him, Edwards exuded confidence, stating, “Hell no. No.”

While Edwards acknowledges the historical greatness of Michael Jordan, he asserts his identity as a unique player carving his own path in the NBA.

This season, Edwards has been making a significant impact, averaging 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in 33.5 minutes per game.
