In a recent interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson on Scoop B Radio, former NBA player Nick Young expressed his admiration for the Los Angeles Lakers, singling out Austin Reaves as his favorite player.
Young, now a fan of 25-year-old Reaves, also applauded the incredible performances of the 38-year-old LeBron James, who defies age as the league’s oldest player.
“I’m an Austin Reaves fan, pulling for my guy and what LeBron is doing at this age is unbelievable, you know? I’m the same age and it’s hard for me to get out of bed on some days, you know? [laughing]… So seeing him do what he do is unbelievable. I think that they’re one trade away,” said Young.
Despite a recent move to the bench by coach Darvin Ham, Reaves is enjoying a career-high season, averaging 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 29.1 minutes per game.
Simultaneously, James continues to shine with averages of 25 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.
