Heat secure narrow victory against Hornets

In a closely contested matchup, the Miami Heat (13-10) emerged victorious, edging out the Charlotte Hornets (7-14) with a final score of 116-114 on Monday night.

Duncan Robinson showcased his shooting prowess, contributing 24 points with five successful 3-pointers, while Kevin Love provided a crucial boost off the bench, delivering a season-high 19 points.

Despite an outstanding performance by Charlotte’s Terry Rozier, who scored 34 points with eight 3-pointers, his last-ditch halfcourt heave at the buzzer couldn’t alter the outcome.

Jimmy Butler’s 23 points and eight assists, along with Caleb Martin’s 20 points and nine rebounds, played pivotal roles in securing the win for Miami.

The game remained competitive, with Miami holding the lead for most of the night, and the Hornets narrowing the gap to one point in the fourth quarter.

Strategically fouling Rozier, the Heat prevented a potential game-tying shot and secured the win, as Butler made key free throws in the final seconds.
