LeBron James on what Anthony Davis means to him

In a historic NBA In-Season Tournament victory, Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to a triumphant 123-109 win against the Indiana Pacers.

Davis’s exceptional talent shone as he contributed 41 points and 20 rebounds, surpassing season highs and securing a memorable triumph for the Purple and Gold.

Teammate LeBron James, reflecting on their five-year partnership, emphasized the significance of having Davis by his side. This surpasses the duration of James’ previous collaborations with Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, or Kyrie Irving.

“Everything, especially at the later stage of my career to be able to get a young hungry Alpha male, to go out there and just do the things that he do, it’s definitely giving me an opportunity to be able to not only watch as he continues to grow, but also be able to try to inspire him as well as he continues to grow in his career and vice versa,” James said.

“I feel like when we’re on the floor together we’re healthy, we know what we’re capable of doing. We just played too many games together, we’ve shared too many moments together, played in too many big moments together to fail each other. It’s been everything, like I said, especially at the later stage of my career.”
